About Tennessee Lake Levels
Our Mission
Tennessee Lake Levels provides real-time and historical water level data for major TVA-managed lakes in Tennessee. Our goal is to help recreational users, boaters, and anglers make informed decisions about their water activities.
Data Sources
Water level data is sourced directly from the Tennessee Valley Authority (TVA) public API. The TVA manages water levels across its reservoir system for multiple purposes including flood control, power generation, navigation, and recreation.
Water temperature data is provided by the United States Geological Survey (USGS) Water Services API. Temperature readings are collected from USGS monitoring stations on rivers feeding into each lake, providing real-time water temperature measurements to help plan your water activities.
